From left clockwise:
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat
NYC Matte Top Coat
Revlon Colorstay Base Coat
Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday
(this is was a mini 100 points perk from Sephora)

Side note: I know some people clean up their nails after they paint them but I usually wait and peel off the nail polish when I wash my hands. It will usually come right off.

Nails: Polka Dot Accent Nail

Hello all! I have a nail post for you today. This is actually last weeks nail look I did. I have already changed my polish but I wanted to share cause I finally used the dotting tool(s) I got back in February. I did a polka dot accent nail. The dotting tool made it very easy to do. I am definitely going to have to experiment using the tools for different designs. The green polish is a Sephora by O-P-I from the Tinsel Town Collection. The accent nail color is a polish from a Elf set my aunt sent me (the Sephora and Elf polishes do not have names on the bottles). I also used Revlon's Colorstay Base Coat (which  I am really liking) and my usual Sally Hansen Strengthening Top Coat.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Till next time,

Nails: Whimsical

Today I picked up some Spring nail polishes because 1) I had some coupons and 2) Spring is right around the corner (for me this winter went really fast).  To see all the polishes I picked up head over to my twitter and don't forget to follow. :)

One of the polishes I picked up was a Revlon one called Whimsical.  In the bottle the color is a very pale blue with blue, pink, and silver glitter.  It does not look that blue when you put it on but it is still very pretty. I used two coats, you definitely need at least that if not three.  Then I used my normal Sally Hansen Strengthening Top Coat.

What Spring polishes have you picked up?

Valentine's Day Nail Look #2

I have another Valentine's Day nail look today. I actually ended up doing something different on each hand so its kind of two looks.

I started off painting all my nails Revlon's Impulsive. A dark blueish purple.

On my left hand I did two hearts using a pink polish by Sephora for O-P-I (which I am not sure of the name but it is from the Tinsel Town Collectors Set). I am still waiting on my dotting tools I ordered to come in so I used (because I didn't have any toothpicks, which you can also use) floss picks. I can't wait to get my dotting tools. I think the hearts came out all right. Better than when I tried to use the actual nail brush. For the other three nails I used a makeup sponge and sponged a little bit of the pink polish over all the nails. I really liked the way this came out and am going to do this again.

On my right hand I did the same two hearts but I used Sephora by O-P-I Only Gold For Me Top Coat. I sponged this one onto the remaining nails as well.

Over all nails I used my Sally Hansen Strengthening Top Coat.

New Years Eve Nails

Hello, again I know New Years Eve has come and gone but I really like the nail look I came up with for it. Plus this look can be worn throughout the year, so I wanted to share. One of my presents from my bf for Christmas was the Sephora by O-P-I Tinsel Town nail polish set. The little bottles don't have the names on them, the names are only on the packaging, so I might not have the right names.

I started off using from the set, Sephora by O-P-I, I Don't Bit.

Then over that I used Sephora by O-P-I, Justa' Pinch Of Glitter.

This was my first time using Sephora by O-P-I polishes and I am loving them.

I did a accent nail using Revlon's Scandalous (761).

And finally I used my Sally Hansen Strengthening Top Coat over all my nails.

Till next time,
