Bargain Beauty Buy: Wet n Wild Makeup Kit

This past weekend when I was at Rite Aid I spotted this Wet n Wild makeup set, originally $9.99 (on the package it said it was a $30 value) it was 50% off so I got it for $4.99. The products are all mini/travel size. The set includes two makeup looks, Hollywood Glam & Beauty Simplicity. Each makeup look comes with a eyeshadow trio, blush, mascara, lipstick and nail polish. All that plus the bag it came in for $5, I couldn't pass it up! I already own a few Wet n Wild products which I really like, and am looking forward to trying out the products in this set.

Awesome Clearance finds.

I have been wanting to get a new makeup bag since the ones I have are kinda small and don't really hold everything I need them to. When I was at Target the other day I came across the clearance section in the beauty section and I found this great Sonia Kashuk makeup bag which was marked down 70%! Originally$14.99 it was only $4.48.  The inside is nice because it comes with a separate area for brushes and a small clear bag  you could store liquids. The colors are not my favorite but hey for the price I can deal.



Also in the same section I found two nail polishes also marked 70% off. Sally Hansen  crackle over coat in Antiqued Gold which was originally $6.99 and I paid $2.08.  The second on was Nicole by OPI in Virtuous Violet originally $7.89 I paid $2.36.

All three things I got were the only one on the shelf that I saw. Target can have awesome deals when they put stuff on clearance, especially if your lucky enough to find the 50% and 70% clearance items so always keep a eye out for those if your like me and don't want to spend full price.

Awesome shampoo sales at Rite Aid!

So proud of myself, I saved more than I spent! My total was $18.37. My total savings was $19.46.





I saw in the flyer for this week that Organix hair care is buy one get one free. This brand tends to be on the more expensive side so this is a great deal.  When I got to the store I saw they  had bottles  with 50% more for the same price  as the smaller bottles. I got the rejuvenating cherry blossom ginseng shampoo and conditioner, which smells awesome by the way. I paid $6.99 for a 19.5fl.oz. bottle and got one free.

Next I saw Herbal essences was 2 for 5. Just so happened that I had a $3 off when you buy 2 coupon. So I got the the shampoo and conditioner for a $1 each. Awesomeness again. I got the the volumizing shampoo & conditioner in passion flower sunrise, bottle size 10.17 fl.oz.

I also picked a bottle of Garnier Fructis  anti-dandruff shampoo & conditioner in one. It was also one sale $1.50 off  so I ended up paying $3.99, for a 13 fl oz bottle.

Last thing I picked up is not shampoo but it was another buy one get one free deal so I couldn't pass it up. It is the Softsoap deep cleansing Sea Mineral hand soap. I love the way it smells. This was $3.99 and I got one free.  8.5 fl oz bottle.

Rite Aid sometimes has some really awesome deals (especially combined with coupons).  Some weeks theres nothing to exciting so you just have to keep a eye on the flyers to catch when they do.
